All-Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF) · Published 7 April 2026
Tony Macken, Managing Director of Daylight.ie in Kinsale, has been recognised as a Business All-Star Thought Leader in Daylight Awareness by the All-Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF). The accreditation recognises Tony's role in advancing awareness of daylight as more than a compliance requirement — positioning it as a critical factor in long-term health, productivity and sustainability.
“Tony Macken has demonstrated clear thought leadership in an area of growing importance within the built environment. His work goes beyond technical delivery, focusing on education and awareness that influences how buildings are designed and experienced… helping to drive better outcomes for both people and the environment.”
— Kieran Ring, Deputy Chair, AIBF Adjudication Board
“My focus has always been on helping people understand the real impact that natural daylight can have — not just in terms of compliance, but in improving how we live and work. There's a significant opportunity to design better spaces through daylight, and I'm proud to contribute to that conversation.”
— Tony Macken, Managing Director, Daylight.ie
